libfuntools1 software package provides Minimal buy-in FITS library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfuntools1
libfuntools1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfuntools1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfuntools1 *
You will get with libfuntools1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
